About CCAR Press

CCAR Press publications are created to serve our members, the Reform Movement, and the Jewish community as a whole.  Our focus is primarily on liturgical resources and publications that relate to Jewish practice. In addition to books, we publish the Reform Jewish Quarterly: The CCAR Journal, and a wide-range of electronic resources including e-books, apps, and Visual T’filah.

CCAR Press publications are conceived and developed in collaboration with CCAR members, scholarsfrom Hebrew Union College-Jewish Institute of Religion (HUC-JIR), as well as, where relevant, ACC and NATE colleagues, under the oversight of business and publishing professionals, the CCAR committees on Worship and Practice, and the CCAR Press Council. This diversity of input helps to ensure the highest level of scholarship and creativity in books that will enrich the lives of millions of Jews for decades to come.

Rabbi Hara Person is the Publisher and Director of CCAR Press.
