Don Rossoff (C ’81) is Rabbi Emeritus at Temple B’nai Or in Morristown, New Jersey. Following his retirement from the congregation, he served as interim rabbi in Evanston, Illinois, Framingham, Massachusetts, Franklin Lakes, New Jersey, Mt. Lebanon, Pennsylvania, and Chicago, Illinois. Don has served CCAR as a regional president, as head of the Israel Committee from 2000–2007, and chair of the Israel Convention in 2009. He has mentored HUC-JIR students into their first years, as well as mentoring a rabbi joining the CCAR from another movement. He was part of the CCAR Colleagues on Call team.
Having completed his coursework for his MS degree in the COAMFTE accredited Marriage and Family Counseling/Therapy program at Capella University, Don is currently serving as a supervised clinical intern at The Juniper Center, a large, private counseling practice with over thirty therapists.
Don and his wife Fran live in Evanston, Illinois.
